Caller: claimed to be Apple id

Received a text from unknown number claiming to be Apple. "Important Apple ID Notice (Case No.:**********)". Then stated "Your Apple ID was recently charged $***.** at APPLE STORE - Sydney, AU." at first, stated that "Due to unusual billing activity, Your Apple ID is currently under security review and cannot be accessed at this time." But then after stating the account could not be accessed, suggested that if this amount was not queried, the money amount would be processed within 24 hours (without stating the account where said money would be taken), then proceeded to request sign in to apple id and enable two factor authentication to upgrade account security. provided a link with a "Reply Y then close and reopen this message to reactivate link. Or, alternatively, copy the link and open in Safari." Neatly finished with "Sincerely, Apple Security Team". Apologies for length and detail of this note, but if it is a phishing scam, perhaps this note might save someone's hard earned $.
